JRP Digital Tachometer + RPM Shift Light Gauge 52mm

The JRP 52mm digital tachometer gauge & RPM shift light combo was developed from the idea of improving the standard 52mm car tacho gauge design. At its core, it functions as a simple 9000 RPM tachometer gauge—but thanks to our brilliant engineer and some clever thinking, it also doubles as a programmable shift light.

The concept is straightforward and requires just two configuration settings for the shift light function to work. First is the warning setting, which determines the RPM at which the shift light ends and the gauge emits a beep to indicate redline. Second is the RPM step setting, which defines when the shift light function begins transitioning the gauge’s colour up to the set redline.

Below, we’ve included two examples to demonstrate how this shift light feature works. In both cases, the default operating colour of the gauge is set to blue, and the shift light stages transition through Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red. However, you can customise all four shift light colours to any combination. For example, if you want Red as the base colour during normal operation, you could configure the shift light to progress through Green, Yellow, Orange, and White instead. You have full control over both the default and stage colours.

We’ve provided two configuration examples below—one with an RPM Step of 500 and another with 200, along with redline settings at 6500 and 7000 RPM. These show how the gauge will behave when the shift light function is active and both settings are applied.
