JRP Vehicle Speed Sensor Kit – Hall Effect
This JRP 3-wire Hall effect speed sensor kit provides a practical way to generate a vehicle-speed signal where a suitable factory output is not available.
The supplied magnet is mounted to a rotating component such as a tailshaft, wheel hub or similar suitable location. Each time the magnet passes the sensor, the sensor produces a pulse that can be calibrated by a compatible JRP multi gauge, aftermarket ECU, data logger or electronic speedometer.

Installation Notes
The sensor must be mounted securely and aligned with the trigger magnet. For reliable operation, the air gap generally needs to be kept within approximately 3–5mm and must not exceed 10mm. The receiving gauge or ECU will require calibration to suit the number of pulses per wheel or shaft revolution.
Professional installation is recommended where fabrication, rotating components or ECU configuration are involved.
